PScan is designed to scan documents and recognize text directly on your device. We aim to collect as little personal information as possible.

PScan does not require you to create an account to use the app.

Depending on the features you use, the app may access:

Camera: used to capture documents for scanning.
Photo Library: used only when you choose to import or save images.
Document Content: images and recognized text are processed for the purpose of providing scanning and text-recognition features.

We do not sell your personal information.

2. How Information Is Used

Information accessed by PScan is used only to provide app functionality, including:

detecting document edges;
correcting perspective and improving readability;
recognizing text in scanned documents;
allowing you to copy, save, or share your results.

3. On-Device Processing

Where supported by the app and device, document images and recognized text are processed locally on your device. Your content is not uploaded to our servers unless a feature clearly tells you otherwise and you choose to use it.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

PScan may rely on Apple system services or third-party software libraries needed to operate the app. These services may process limited technical information according to their own privacy policies.

5. Data Retention

Scanned documents and recognized text remain under your control. You may delete saved content from the app or your device at any time.

We do not maintain a separate cloud archive of your scanned documents unless a future feature explicitly provides such functionality and asks for your consent.
